PICTURE TIME...GRANDMA HAS 6 DAYS OFF!!!

I hope everyone doesn't get tired of pictures...Cassidy Joi is just so cute and developing her own personality every day. Patti and Grandma took pictures of each other with Cassidy, Grandma bought her new footie pajamas and she has the purple one with snowmen and snowflakes on it on.

BATH TIME...

When I got home from work tonight, Patti and Tim had just given Cassidy her bath. Her hair is getting longer and when its wet it just curls right up, she has a case of baby acne that the doctor said would go away in a few weeks.
I'd like to say a special Hello to Cassidy's other grandparents in Florida, Bruce and Nancy Lewanda and also her great grandparents Joe and Edna.
Grandma is tired tonight so I'm going to keep it short but sweet...

GETTING CUTER EVERY DAY!!!!!

Cassidy Joi is getting cuter every day !!! She is starting to smile now and she is getting bigger too. Grandma loves to take her picture...the one with her eyes real big was taken after the flash went off.
The nice thing about grand kids is you can hold them and spoil them and then you can take off for the golf course which we did. On the way to the golf course we won 4 coupons for 18 holes each of free golf at Boulder Creek...Thanks the the River FM!!!!

Cassidy Joi is getting bigger every day, she is 18 days old today and Grandma thought it was time for a new picture. She's going to think that a camera flash is a permanent part of life!!

GRANDPA'S TURN

So...Grandpa decided it was his turn to rock Cassidy to sleep tonight, actually I rocked her to sleep and then Grandpa stole her from me!!! Here is a cute picture of Cassidy snuggling with Grandpa while he was watching football.

I was nice to be at work with my friends but I missed being home too!!
Cassidy Joi was awake when I got home and Grandma rocked her to sleep for her Mom :-). She is so precious, rarely cries and when she's awake she just looks around with those big blue eyes. Have a great night everyone!!

BACK TO WORK FOR ME

Well...its back to work today. It would be nice to be a stay at home Grandma, LOL. Having the last 10 days off has been wonderful, a new beautiful grand daughter, 4 days of golf and relaxation with Bob, and just relaxing at home enjoying my family. Life just doesn't get any better than that!!!

Monday, Sept. 11 is the 5 year anniversary of 9/11, remember to pray for those who lost loved ones and for those who continue to suffer.

Enjoying my time off!!!

Cassidy went for her first doctors appointment today and Dr. Begrow said she was "perfect"...but we already knew that!!! She has gained 11oz. and has grown 1/4" already, thats pretty good for only being 8 days old. She never cried once while the Dr. was checking her, she's a very good baby.

Bob and I got our Concealed Pistol Permits today, we had to go before the gun board to get them. Then, we went to Applebee's for supper with my brothers and sister and their spouses and my Dad, we had a great time...good thing I remembered my "Grandma's brag book".

And, of course the day wouldn't be complete without going to the driving range to hit a bucket of balls, I got a pair of FootJoy golf shoes for only $4.00.

4 Day Golf Weekend!!!!!

Bob and I just got back from a 4 day golf weekend at Shanty Creek Resort in Bellaire Michigan.
We won an all expense paid weekend with Andy Rent and Chuck Latour from The River FM. We stayed in an awesome hotel with a whirlpool tub right in the room, and we played 54 holes of golf with Andy and Chuck.
On Saturday we golfed at Schuss Mountain, Roger Gieseck (their golf pro) golfed with us and gave us free instructions (normally he would charge $75 an hour). Sunday we golfed at The Legend...a beautiful course with million dollar homes built right on the edge of the course. Then on Monday it was Cedar River Golf Course, another beautiful course.
We had a GREAT time together, it was like a second honeymoon for us :-).
Its nice to be back home though so we can spend time with Cassidy, our new grand daughter. She is doing fine and getting more beautiful every day, Patti and Tim are turning out to be wonderful parents.
