CASSIDY IS 4 MONTHS OLD!!

Cassidy Joi just turned 4 months old, and she can roll over now. She is getting so big...its like she's growing right before our eyes. I took this picture just before she rolled over on her back, it shows how big her beautiful eyes are.
Bob and I hope all our family and friends have a wonderful, blessed New Year.

MY SISTER SUE...WHAT A BLESSING!!!!

Bob and I, Josh, Rob, Patti & Cassidy went to my sister Sue's (and Jerry's) church tonight. Sue gave her testimony of how the Lord has blessed her and her husband Jerry and their family through her illness. For those of you who don't know Sue, she was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (bone marrow cancer) in 2001, the same year our Mom and our little sister Joy passed away.
Despite the fact that her illness is not curable, Sue continues to shine for the Lord and is constantly giving of herself to others. I'm proud to be her sister and friend !!! Merry Christmas Sister number one :-).

MADISON JOY BARTLETT

Welcome Home...Tom, Marcia, Joel and Madison Joy!!!

It was a long two weeks for them but they are finally home with their little girl. She is just adorable and is very shy right now. I'm sure that after being in an orphanage for 16 months and then flying to the U.S. is just a bit over whelming for her. I know she will adjust well in her new home with plenty of loving family and extended family around her. Here are a few picture from their arrival at the airport Thursday night.

GRANDMA LEWANDA COMES TO VISIT

Tuesday afternoon, Nancy Lewanda (Tim & Char's Mom) flew in from Florida to visit for the holidays. It is the first time she has seen Cassidy and it is the first time both of us Grandma's have met. She was glad to see her kids and grandkids and it was a pleasure for me to meet her. Bob and I, Patti, Tim & Cassidy, and Char, Kaylee & Nathan all met at AppleBee's for supper. And...of course I took pictures!!!

Thursday evening should be another exciting time at the airport...My brother Tom and his wife Marcia fly in from China with their new daughter Madison. I can't wait to see them all!! Since I'll be working at that time I will be able to escort all of my family up to the gate to meet them :-). Look for pictures tomorrow!!!!!!!!!

We went to Sears today to have pictures taken...what more can I say, Cassidy is the most beautiful baby!!! (of course Grandma is a little biased)

CHRISTMAS TIME FOR CASSIDY

Grandpa and I took Patti and Cassidy to the mall today to see Santa. She is such a good baby, nothing upsets her at all. Patti and I took some really cool ones of her in front of their Christmas tree and one with her new baby doll.

Tom, Marcia and Joel's adventure to China begins...

WHAT....NO PICTURES ?!?!?!?!

I can't believe I'm writing a post with no pictures, that is so unlike me...I LOVE pictures!!

My brother Tom and his wife Marcia are leaving for China on Thursday (12/7) to pick up their new daughter Madison Joy. They will return on December 21st. Please pray for their safe travel!!! I'm sure I will have tons of pictures to post when they get back.

Cassidy is getting bigger everyday and she loves her Grandma :-). I'm going with Patti, Tim and Cassidy Monday night to get their family picture taken. Cassidy is going to wear the same Christmas dress Patti wore 18 years ago. She looks really cute in it!!

And...last but not least Bob and I are starting to get things ready for our cruise. For our 30th wedding anniversary we are going on a Caribbean cruise for 7 days in January. It should be a great time!!
