TIME WITH GRANDMA :-)
Grandma got to spoil Cassidy 2 days in a row. It was only for a couple hours each day but it gave Patti some much needed time to herself. Despite being just a tad spoiled she was really good for Grandma, she liked to sit in her bouncy seat and watch Divot our little black dachshund run circles around her. Cassidy turned 5 months old yesterday, she is getting so big already!!
Now that we are back its time for Grandpa and Grandma to catch up on their spoiling of Cassidy. While we were in Florida waiting to board our cruise ship we went to Downtown Disney, we found an adorable Nemo that we knew Cassidy would love. Here are a few pictures of her with Nemo and with Grandpa, I sure miss the 80+ degree weather!!
Bob and I just got back from our 7 day Royal Caribbean cruise. It was our first cruise and won't be our last!!! We went with 4 other couples and had an amazing time. We drove down with our friends Bob and Irma and spent 2 days in Nashville Tennessee before heading to Tampa Florida where we boarded our ship The Legend of The Seas. We visited Costa Maya, Belize, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. The ship was huge...two swimming pools, 4 hot tubs, casino, miniature golf, climbing wall, theater, library, two formal dining rooms and two buffet dining rooms. It was hard to leave 80 degree weather and come back to snow but we missed everyone...especially Cassidy!! There is one picture of her with Tim and our huge cat that weighs more than Cassidy does.
Cassidy is starting the New Year off right with Great Grandpa Bartlett, she just adores him and his fingers don't taste too bad either. She went for her well baby check up today and Dr. Begrow called her "Little Miss Thunder Thighs", she weighs 12 pounds 13 oz. and is 23.5 inches long. He said she is "perfect", but we already knew that!! Bob and I are off for some sun and fun for 10 days, more pictures and news when we return...everyone else enjoy the snow :-)
Today was busy for a "day off". Bob went to line the motorcade route with other veterans for Gerald Ford's homecoming. Bob is in one of the pictures with his "P"coat from his Air Force days 35 years ago!! I think he looks wonderful myself!!
Then tonight we got together with my side of the family (Bartlett's) for pizza at my Dad's apartment building. Everyone was there except my brother Tom's son Joel and our son Andrew. What a huge blessing to have all the family together, my Dad was very pleased. I will include a picture of all of us that my brother Jim took as soon as he e-mail's it to me. I did take a couple of all of us eating and one very special one with Cassidy and her Great Grandpa, two very important people in my life!!
That's it for now I have to be to work at 8am and work 10 hours at the airport tomorrow, I'm sure it will be busy :-)
I started our family blog after our first grandchild was born. Her other grandparents live in Florida and this is a way for them to watch Cassidy Joi grow.
